Summerset Village
Summerset Village is Negril’s convivial health and pleasure resort, where guests return year after year. The property has the old time Negril charm that made the West End world famous and is located in a friendly Jamaican village with accommodating staff. This quiet West End Negril garden property has a popular bar, restaurant and swimming pool to complement the one and two bedroom cottages, hotel rooms and a five bedroom villa.
Though not on the beach, the property provides a free daily shuttle to Negril's famous seven mile beach. Sea access off the cliffs is a short walk down the road, as is Rick’s Café and other famous Negril watering holes. Summerset’s local charm and flavor is enhanced with the spacious and well-kept grounds and fruit trees within easy reach. The upper floors of the two story buildings and cottages have a commanding view of the entire village.

Villa Directions
From Montego Bay: On leaving the Montego Bay airport continue in a westerly direction, into the town of Montego Bay. Travel along highway through Bogue and Long Hill and continue straight to Lucea. On entering the town of Lucea keep right, which leads to the Commercial Bank and then continue on the "one way" unto the Highway (which is the straight Negril route). While traveling along the main road is a stretch of a seven (7) mile stretch of sandy beach property on the left, dotted with hotels on either side. On reaching the round about at the Negril town centre, take right and travel on the West End route. Look for the following landmarks: the Burger King restaurant on right; the Bank of Nova Scotia on left followed by a deep corner, then the National Commercial Bank on left. Summerset Village Hotel is on a two mile stretch, after passing the Rock House on right, Coral Seas on right, Hungry Lion on left and the Banmark Cambio on right. **TURN IMMEDIATE LEFT AT BANMARK CAMBIO ONTO SUMMERSET ROAD**, the hotel's front office is flanked by two sides of prime landscaped dwelling

Our story began in 1967 when The Jamaica Association of Villas and Apartments Limited (JAVA) was founded.
