BOOKING A VILLA
Once the selected villa is confirmed as available and your decision is to rent, you will be sent a Rental Agreement covering the terms of rental and payment schedule. Bookings are secured and confirmed once you have completed, signed and submitted the Rental Agreement with a 25% deposit. All correspondence between you and JAVA will be undertaken via telephone, fax or email. All bookings attract a damage deposit.
CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION
By submitting the signed Rental Agreement and deposit, the Party Leader is confirming that all persons occupying the accommodation have accepted the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement. The Party Leader will be responsible for the full cost of the accommodation and any other services booked.
All dollar amounts are US dollars and should be paid in US dollars (unless otherwise agreed). A deposit of 25% of the total rental fee plus an administrative fee of US$100.00 is payable to confirm the reservation. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years bookings require a 50% deposit plus an administrative fee of US$100.00. The initial deposit is due within 7 days of the booking to confirm and guarantee your reservation. Failure to make this payment subjects your reservation to cancellation.
Final and total payment for each booking, must reach JAVA no later than 60 days prior to your arrival at the property. For holiday periods (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year) we require final payment 90 days prior to your arrival.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made by Cash, Bank Deposit, Bank Checks, International Money Orders, Visa and MasterCard
In general, private villas and apartments are nonrefundable items. We therefore highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Should you need to cancel or change your reservation, JAVA must receive notice in writing by fax or email. We will do our best to negotiate a refund or date change for you with the property owner, however success cannot be guaranteed. If we are able to negotiate a refund for you, a cancellation fee of 20% of the payment received will be assessed at the time of negotiation.
In Low Season (April 15-December 14):
There is no refund for cancellations less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
In High Season (December 15 – April 16) & Holiday Periods:
There is no refund for cancellations less than 90 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
**There will be no refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, premature departures or reduction in number of persons in your group. Subletting to another party is not permitted and would be a breach of your rental agreement.
Only the number of persons noted, when booking was made, are entitled to stay. We ask that clients respect the stated maximum occupancy at each property. There can be no house parties or functions of any nature without advanced written permission. If the villa is booked with a reduced number of bedrooms at a reduced price, the bedrooms which are not included in the booking will remain locked.
